Judicial Appointments Commission | FREE Law Society workshops – Judicial appointment – interview skills for solicitors

As part of its positive action strategy, the Law Society is running two free workshops – judicial appointments: interview training for solicitors. The course is aimed at Black and Asian solicitors who are currently under represented in the judiciary

The workshops will equip attendees with the skills to help enhance your application and interview performance. This training course has been developed for solicitor applicants.

This intensive one day training will focus on tailoring your submission to make a positive impact in the competency based application and selection process. You will receive practical advice on completing the application form, incorporating your experiences and invaluable interview practice with feedback

The course has been designed for solicitors with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE who are considering applying for a judicial appointment. If you have sufficient experience to demonstrate that you can meet the JAC’s requirements then this training event will be invaluable to your career progression.

The courses will take place on:

Saturday 20 September – Law Society, London

Places are limited to 10 delegates per course and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis
