Law Society Workshop ‘Judicial Appointments: Interview Training for Solicitors’

As part of its positive action strategy, the Law Society is running a free workshop – judicial appointments: interview training for solicitors. The course is aimed at Black and Asian solicitors who are currently under represented in the judiciary.


The workshop will equip attendees with the skills to help enhance your application and interview performance. This training course has been developed for solicitor applicants.


This intensive one-day training will focus on tailoring your submission to make a positive impact in the competency based application and selection process. You will receive practical advice on completing the application form, incorporating your experiences and invaluable interview practice with feedback.


The course has been designed for solicitors with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE who are considering applying for a judicial appointment. If you believe that you are able to demonstrate the JAC’s competencies or looking to develop them further, then this training event will be invaluable to your career progression.

Places are limited to 10 delegates per course and will be allocated based on your CV and the information you provide.
