Please join us for an entertaining evening to celebrate Black History Month at ENO’s new production of the Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess.
Considered Gershwin‘s magnum opus, Porgy and Bess is infused with unforgettable melodies, including the much-loved ‘Summertime’, jazz, ragtime, blues, and spirituals. Featuring ENO’s full orchestra and an 80-strong chorus combining ENO’s 40-strong chorus with a 40-voice ensemble, we bring to life the emotionally charged relationships of a close-knit community in 1920s South Carolina.
