Become a member of the BSN by filling out the Membership form here.
Membership is open to all solicitors, trainee solicitors, paralegals and students of African or Caribbean descent in England and Wales and any solicitor, trainee solicitor, paralegal or student who supports the aims and objectives of the BSN irrespective of their race, colour or creed.
Over time we have developed relations and partnerships with a number of external organisations (a network if you will) which in turn has enabled us to create a range of services and benefits which can now be enjoyed by our members.
We recognise that our members have a range of needs, many outside of their professional world. We believe that by working to support both the professional and the more personal aspects of your life, helps gives you the balance required to become a better solicitor and therefore champion of the BSN values and aims.
As part of this process we are continuously developing and improving our overall benefits package for our members. We also have a range of membership types that are based on a combination of your experience, qualifications and status – demonstrating to your peers your commitment and credibility within the profession.
Being part of the BSN also means that you have an influential organisation on your side, representing your concerns to key stakeholders within the legal profession, the government and the wider community. We are also at your side, providing professional business support, wherever it is needed.
