Welcome to the registration section of the site.

Membership is currently free and there are two types of members:

Individual members

Membership is open to:

• Lawyers practicing in England & Wales
• Non-practicing UK lawyers
• Law students, of all levels
• Overseas lawyers
• Individuals who are interested in and who support the aims of the BSN

Organisations:

Membership is open to organisations that have at least one BAME (Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic) lawyer. This includes:

• Law Firms
• Barristers Chambers
• Public bodies and organisations
• Local Authorities
• Central Government agencies and departments
• Corporate companies e.g. FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 members

• Academic Institutions are also invited to join

Important notes:

• Membership is not restricted to UK organisations.

We work with a number of governing bodies to perform random checks to validate entries. However, the onus is on the individual to post correct information and to update their status should it change, and it is one of the conditions of membership.
