Black Solicitors' Network Committees

The BSN's activities are carried out through various committees led by it's Directors.

The committees are as follows:

Membership and Special Interests

The committee undertakes active recruitment of BSN members. We particularly seek to encourage members outside of the south east of England and will hold regional events from time to time. The committee seeks to promote the interests of particular groups such as lawyers in the public and voluntary sector, the City, commerce & industry and those undertaking publicly funded work. Contact us at membership@blacksolicitorsnetwork.com

News and Social Affairs

The principal role of the committee is to promote the interests of the BSN in the public arena. It disseminates information of relevance and interest to the members and responds as necessary on the BSNs behalf. It will also liase with the Law Society and other bodies in matters which the BSN considers to be of importance and of common interest to its members. Contact us at news@blacksolicitorsnetwork.com

Policy and Consultation

To ensure that the views of Black solicitors in relation to forthcoming or existing legislation are included within relevant consultation documents. The Committee also seeks to ensure that the interests of Black solicitors are incorporated into future policies of the legal profession by working collaboratively with strategic partners.
