Renewals process 2011/2012

We apologise

We are very sorry that the delays in the introduction of online renewals have caused problems for some members of the regulated community and we appreciate your frustration.

What you should do

In view of the need to ensure the reliability of the system, the decision has been made to roll out the online renewals process to 16,000 members of the profession from Tuesday, 20 December.

Firms, and individuals who are renewing their own certificate or registration, can begin applying to renew from today—if the first-occurring letter for their full name begins with A to D.

Renewals for all other firms and individuals will begin on Thursday, 5 January.

Deadlines

Band A–D has until Monday, 13 February 2012 to complete the process.

Band E–Z has until Tuesday, 21 February 2012.

Some examples may prove useful:

• John Smith is in E–Z.
• AN Other and Associates is in A–D.
• 4Star is in E–Z.
• The University of Essex is in E–Z.

The deadline for activating your mySRA account, for those who have not already done so, has been extended until 13 January 2012.

Practising certificates, registrations for RELs and RFLs, firm recognitions and sole practitioner authorisations will remain valid in the meantime, as long as individuals and firms apply for renewal when the process opens to them.

If you have already activated your account, visit www.sra.org.uk/mysra and select mySRA services or Log in to mySRA.

To activate your account and get login details, visit www.sra.org.uk/mysra and select Activate your account.
