Help just a phone call away over Christmas

Those looking for help and advice during the festive period will find the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) is open for business.

Both the SRA's Contact Centre and Ethics Helpline will be operating in between Christmas and the New Year for those who want have queries to put to advisors. Advisors will be available on December 29 and 30, so the only normal working day that will not see the telephones staffed will be Wednesday, December 28.

Both will be operating as normal until 5pm on Friday, December 23. Those with activation queries about their mySRA account can call the Contact Centre from 8.30am until 6pm.
All other regular Contact Centre queries can be dealt with between 9am and 5pm. The number to call is, as always, 0870 606 2555.

The Ethics Helpline will be also running from 9am until 5pm, and callers can get advice on the Code of Conduct by ringing 0870 606 2577.

Alternatively, a number of questions have already been answered or discussed in the monthly Question of Ethics newsletters. The archive is available by logging on to http://www.sra.org.uk/questionethics
